HISTORY of EZC Group S.A.

Easy Concerns – concern management for classified environments

EZC Group S.A. is born in 2008 with mission to provide concern management solutions for industries with high confidentiality requirements, up to military classified. The initial product was named Easy Concerns (EZC) and gave its name to the company. From ground up Easy Concerns was able to manage documents, sign-offs, stage-gates, action plans… while managing privacy by configuration along the whole process lifecycle.

YobiDrive® collaborative file sharing in vault mode

In 2011 EZC Group S.A. created the award winning YobiDrive®, a document exchange platform using a Private Key Infrastructure to secure confidential data in vault mode, already using a SmartPhone key for authentication and vault opening.  YobiDrive also introduced a dynamo ring technology allowing storage up to YobiBytes. Being a upgraded, privacy oriented version of the Dynamo object storage model, this evolution of Easy Concerns’ server side code base  was named Alternator.io .

YobiDrive is an EuroCloud award winner.

YobiDrive was also the start of EZC’s cloud journey, with it’s own object storage ring based on the developments at LinkedIn and boosted by our open source DiskMap NoSQL engine. Specifically optimised for commodity hardware, DiskMap is still a great option for low TCO, high number of users single node setups in private clouds.

Webgates and SyncShuttle®

In 2013 WebGates was added to YobiDrive, allowing cloud based secure access to file servers all over the world from a single web portal.

In 2019 the technology behind Webgate was extended and SyncShuttle® was added to our portfolio, allowing structured and unstructured data transfers and synchronisations via public or private cloud.

Confidentializer®

Given the constant orientation towards privacy and confidentiality management of the product line, it became obvious that all features should be grouped under the same umbrella. That’s how the Confidentializer® software suite was born, mixing secure storage, cloud based secure data exchange, a privacy and confidentiality by design management engine with oData endpoint, and multi-factor authentication.

PRIVATELY HELD

EZC Group S.A. is privately held company, owning the IP and brands of the Confidentializer® software suite.

This IP covers many areas required to build confidentiality & privacy management products : No SQL, Multi-Factor authentication, PKI based Encryption, Cloud based secure exchange, Contextual object storage, Contextual privacy management. Our vertical integration strategy allows our pricing model to be adapted to our customer’s business model. This is key for a suite that is meant to be integrated into our client’s products.
