Since EZC Group’s creation back in 2008, we have always fostered a partnering approach. Our mission is to help our customers building secure products and services, without interfering in their business model.
No user based licensing
As a direct consequence none of our products are licensed on a user/seat basis. As we do not depend on external IP to market our own products, we can adapt our licensing scheme to our customer’s business model. This will generally take the form of a server or a site license, but any model is manageable. Source code license is even possible, so that you may use Confidentializer® to jumpstart your project and keep full control.
No brainer consulting and ad-hoc developments
We take the same care for specific customer developments as we would for our products. Our pride is the reliability of our products, and the one of the products we help you to design and build.
White-labelling is part of our DNA : our vision is that our IP is there to help customers build safer applications, faster. Our code becomes part of your product. The connectors and specific features we develop for our customers turn it into a unique product that will become your product’s strength.
Beside the products that provide privacy management features, we provide as part of our consulting activities templates and how-to for helping you secure the entire chain, such as mobile app templates. We may also work the other way around by auditing an existing application and providing recommendations on how to improve it’s privacy by design characteristics.
Focus on a limited technology set
We believe it’s important to master the technology used to build our products. We won’t answer “yes we can” to any request. Our developments use JAVA and React-Native, period. We won’t create specific developments based on other technologies… and that’s not a problem.
In this new era of “micro-services” and “containers”, our partners will develop for you a .Net , PHP or Node.js app that will just consume the web services exposed by our Java core.
Cloud ready
Cloud is today everywhere. Services provided by the Confidentializer® software suite have minimal dependencies and as such can be adapted to any public or private environment. Cloud services required are basic and cheap (e.g.: no managed SQL instance required). We even provide a distributed NoSQL, cache and queue manager that has a minimal footprint. It’s so efficient that in can run setups with tenth of thousands users from a single standard VM/container. Efficiency is often overlooked in web application design, although it can have a great impact on costs on a growing service.
Partner ecosystem
We work together with your local partners so that you don’t have to create a revolution when working with us. We may also recommend implementation or application development partners should you want to outsource the full development activities of your Private by Design application.
